| A copy of our calendar ended up in the lap of the camp comedian Graham Norton, who featured it on his TV show 'So Graham Norton.' As one of the guests was the Greek singer Nana Mouskouri, he presented her with a calendar of picturesque Hellenic islands, then showed a non - plussed Nana how the islands of Redditch compare. How pleasing that a town as modest as Redditch was finally proving to the World that it has something to offer. Redditch council called us to the Town Hall. They were worried about us denigrating the image of the town. A few years previously Redditch had been awarded the unwanted accolade of 'Most boring postcard in Britain' a picture of the town's bus station. | |        |
