Check out BBC TODAY – Why do people love roundabouts?
Very funny interview with BBC presenter John Humphrys (now an honorary UKRAS mamber) and our president Lord of the Rings Kevin Beresford
Everyone loves what you guys are usually up
too. Suchh clever work and reporting! Keep up the very good works guys I’ve included you guys to our blogroll.
We do our best guys.
Have you ever considered creating an e-book or
guest authoring on other sites? I have a
blog centered on the same subjects you discuss and would really like
to have you share some stories/information.
I know my audience would value your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to send me an e-mail.
My best roundabout so far is the Duck Pond roundabout in Otford, Kent
First of all thanks for your interest in the UK Roundabout Appreciation Society.
It has to be stated that we have dropped formal membership of our unique club, however that does not mean you cannot contribute or gain benefit by belonging to such a unique organisation ( albeit on a casual basis).
We have roundabout enthusiasts from all around the world who love to send us photos of their favourite one-way gyratory. Indeed if we like your traffic island shot and think it is of high enough quality we will place your picture in one of our two annual calendars ‘Best of British Roundabouts’ or ‘Roundabouts of the World’.
We shall credit you with the shot and send you a freebie calendar.
Our society produces roundabout memorabilia such as mugs, coasters, place mats and chopping boards etc to impress your family and friends.
Honoury members of UKRAS include John Huphreys and Chris Evans.
Please send your roundabout shots as jpegs to- email@example.com
